Introducing The S.T.A.R Clinic

The S.T.A.R Clinic is one of only a handful of vet-led referral clinics in the UK dedicated to rehabilitation, pain management and sports medicine in our animal friends.

We are now pleased to be able to offer a full veterinary practice facility alongside our specialist rehabilitation services.

We provide care for pets from all walks of life including our older arthritic cats and dogs, those recovering from injury or surgery, top level competition dogs and working dogs of all kinds whether they be police dogs, gun dogs or guide dogs.

Our aim is to provide the highest level of care for you and your pet, to ensure that we can rehabilitate them to their highest achievable level of fitness and to prevent further injury.

Sports Medicine

Routine preventative care can help these dogs prepare their bodies for the stresses they are put under and, importantly, identify small problems before they become big problems.

More
Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is an integral part of the recovery process following illness or injury; Whether performed as an alternative to surgery (where appropriate) or as a post-surgical treatment.

More
Education

Here at S.T.A.R Clinic we believe that education is a key part in keeping our patients fit and healthy. Whether that be through training or advice we’re here to help.

More
Pain Management

We know that pain affects our patients in many ways.  It is a stressor and as such will impact hugely, not only on their mobility but also on their general health and well being.

We offer rehabilitation, pain management and sports medicine services and are fortunate that our facility is led by one of only a few vets in the country to be a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) and to also  hold a General Practitioners Certificate in Chronic Pain Management and Western Veterinary Acupuncture (CerGP CPM&WVA).
